JAMIE FLEGAL, EA

Jamie Flegal has been involved in the tax profession for 20+ Years. She started in 2002 at H&R Block and had a desire to advance in the tax profession. She went on to receive her Registered Tax Return Preparer, (RTRP), and became a tax preparer for CDS Business Services. She worked under the late Mike Goodman and gained a wide variety of skills and knowledge and credits him with helping to guide her to open her own business.

Ms. Flegal also worked alongside her late husband in his computer store. This has helped her gain even more insight into how a business operates. She really enjoyed learning the ins and outs of a family business. She went on to focus all of her time on her true passion, tax preparations. Flegal Tax Associates was established in 2016 and is growing more and more every year.
She has worked hard to grow her small business and could not have done it without her wonderful and loyal clients.

Ms. Flegal has been a resident of Chattanooga since 1995 and has a son who graduated from Auburn University in 2016.
She enjoys golfing, caring for her adorable dog, Juda, and attending Christ United Methodist Church at East Brainerd Road.

SANDRA FENTON, EA

Sandra Fenton began working for the Internal Revenue Service in Atlanta in 1994 and continued her career with the IRS after relocating to Chattanooga in 2001.
After 20 years of government service Ms. Fenton retired but continued to work as a tax accountant in the private sector. It was while working for the late Mike Goodman at CDS Business Services that she met Jamie Flegal. Her affiliation with Ms. Flegal continued as Flegal Tax Associates was formed.

Although preparing tax returns is the main focus of Flegal Tax Associates, Ms. Fenton enjoys the challenge of difficult tax situations and helping clients solve tax problems with the Internal Revenue Service.
​
Ms. Fenton has a B.S. in Industrial Management from GA Tech and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
​
She enjoys many of the wonderful outdoor activities this area has to offer including hiking, camping, and kayaking.
